Trace: about 12 000 km, 7 500 roadless tracts in it: Small Sandy desert, Gibson Desert, Simpson Desert, Strzelecki Desert
Term: September - October 2004
Duration: 40 days
Transport: 3 cars 4 WD (all - terrain, four-wheel drive)
Participants: Marek Tomalik, Adam Murcha, Waldek `Waldi` Obłąk, Piotr Trybalski, Paweł Tysa, HYBRYDA Film Studio team: Sławek Sławatewcki, Sebastian Chrząszcz;

Aims of expedition:
  • popularization one of the polish most famous discoverer P. E. Strzelecki;
  • unprecedential covering 7500 km - long trace through the roadless tracts of Australia;
  • exploration of places and areas connected with person of P.E. Strzelecki;
  • meetings with Australians of Polish origin;
  • production of film about Strzelecki Traces Expedition 2004 for one of Polish commercial television station;
  • production of photo materials placed in album about Polish traces in Australia;
  • organizing a photograph exhibition documenting the course of Expedition;
  • a publication book under the title `Australia - its red interior).
